Why is the government meddling in the affairs of private businesses? Workers know their pay structure when hired. If they don't like it they can go work somewhere else.

My salary is based on a 40 hour work week. If I want to pull my laptop at home and do work then thats my choice. This Act doesnt apply to me, but I dont see the issue with paying people if they have to work over the 40.
