Fair hourly rate for yard laborers?

Time to get the yard in shape. Need to bring in sand and top soil for leveling, rework my beds, build some new beds. Gonna have to hire some laborers to gimme a hand.... the back ain’t what it used to be.
What is a fair hourly rate to pay? Of course, I was thinking “tree fiddy “ but not completely sure that is accurate.
In all seriousness..... any thoughts or experiences?

Get high school kids and pay them $8/hour and feed them pizza afterwards

Well for starters it depends on where the job is located.

Have kids and it will be “free”.
My 3 yo doesn’t know what’s coming.

Who pays yard men by the hour?? Get a price for the work you want done and if you can afford it, hire them. If not, do it yourself.

depends on what the duration of the work will be and also exactly what you expect out of these folks. If you want folks who can all speak English, you are probably looking at $15 per hour....a few $ per hour less if they don't all need to speak English.

Just remember: you get what you pay for. I’d rather spend a little more to get it done right the first time and quickly vs save money and take longer.
Use company that you can provide a rating/review on. No one like 1-Star reviews.

Put it this way, I just paid two guys $17 an hour to pull down popcorn ceilings, mud any unsmooth areas, sand it, prime it and then paint it in a 1900 sq ft home.
I think $12-15 an hour is more than fair for lawn work. Maybe throw in a little tip if they finish in a reasonable time.

My neighbor is an older guy who came here from Mexico 30 plus years ago. He cracks me up because he loves to go to Home Depot and pick up some of "those guys" as he calls them.
He needed an old wooden fence torn down last year and couldn't get any of the labor guys for less than $14/hour.
