2014 on the football field was great compared to F King's academic performance. LSU's academic standing has steadily declined since that underqualified buffoon arrived.

F. King was one of the biggest toadies for JBE's tax increases that has done nothing to improve the Louisiana economy and actually has harmed it.

He isn't a strategic thinker, has little vision for the university, and spends more time managing how things look than on making things happen.
Actually, it's Dardenne himself that has always dreamed of having the job. It's unclear whether JBE agrees, but it wouldn't surprise me if he did this just to free up the commissioner position for new blood.
