He had a plan for it. Biden is the one who pulled the trigger. A bunch of people died. See above.

Seeing the jet was from Lakenheath gives me pause. Years ago we lived in England when my dad was stationed at EAF Croughton. It is a spook base with communications functions. A few miles up the road was RAF Upper Heyford, which was sort of a sister base to Croughton. I went to school there a couple years, and the school was basically across the street from the flight line. We would even have to pause class sometimes due to the noise. Heyford had F-111s and they were very cool to early teen me. The moveable wings were badass. Seeing this makes me realize how lucky we were during those times that none of my friends’ dads were ever called into action in a real active engagement zone.

I believe the A10 pilot was rescued. A communications guy is missing from the 15e

The article i read was confusing how they worded it. One rescued one missing i didn't realize it was 3 total pilots/operators

Oh yeah, we should be thankful he didnt start it the week he took office. He gave it a year to ease us into a full blown war in the middle east (although he only waited a few months for the first bomb strikes)

Edit: and yes im under no illusion this is Trumps plan. He is controlled. Which makes it even weirder that his sicophants support it. He told us plainly he didnt want wars.

F-15e was shot down
Pilot was rescued
Co-pilot aka Weapons Systems Officer(WSO) is still unaccounted for and is somewhere in enemy territory for potentially 15 hours
A-10 was shot down and crashed in the Persion Gulf
Pilot is safe
2 helicopters shearching enemy territory for the missing F-15e co-pilot took heavy fire but did not crash and returned home.
All that matters at the moment is the missing F-15e WSO co-pilot
That was the OP's point of this thread
Let's stop the bickering about the war until our soldier is found safe.
I don't want to imagine the horror that pilot will endure if the enemy finds him or, God for bid, her first.

Call me a pessimist but they have to have been captured, no? I get ejection at altitude they’ll get some separation but they still should have landed in the same general area.

The fact that CSAR rapidly found one, you would think the aircraft did an extensive search grid on that datum. If they couldn’t find them……

Wonder if they found the chute though.

I’m not bothering naming the posters in question for a biased blind man who may be ignorant too.
You don’t need to look past upvotes and comments for negativity on the first page. It continues throughout.

But weve seen the plan... Last time we went over there we stayed for 20 years and EVERYONE celebrated when we finally left. Then 4 years later we start another war after all the trouble we went through getting out of the last one.

That reads like you think the current plan is a carbon copy of what was attempted 20 years ago.

Do you seriously think our military generals are so inept that they just copy/paste war planning?

I also think you’re either drunk, stoned, or repeating rhetoric from some other stoner you thought sounded credible.

The secretary of “war” is a drunken sex pest who used to host a FOX news show before getting this gig he’s wildly unqualified for

His boss is Donald Trump

Your faith in any of these people making good decisions is extremely misguided, as evidenced by the frickin disaster of a situation we currently find ourselves in
