This. Very quick acceleration.

I didn’t expect how quickly it made such a tight turn around vehicle in the way. It got to a point in video where I was thinking it was going to have to enter somewhere else.

Crazy quick acceleration and are super quiet even at high speeds. Looking at the video that the lights off you couldn’t even see/hear it coming till it’s on you.

Exactly. Quick low speed acceleration and silent. Unless you see it coming or hear the screams, you may not notice it especially on bourbon street.

Seeing the Tesla trump tower explosion also.

Do you think they’ve figured how to ignite the battery for these? Not to explode but possibly maximize damage. Those batteries damned near can not be extinguished and burn insanely hot.

Simplest answer is the weight and acceleration. I’ve been in a Tesla with a sport package upgrade. It is unreal.

I know a guy who drives a Model Y from Houston to rural Mississippi every 7 days.

He’s an idiot.

I would imagine they wanted the battery fire as a secondary source of damage. In the Trump one I imagine that’s why they wanted it under the valet drive up. I’m shocked it didn’t blow out more windows.

With either the long or short range model... He still only has to stop once.

Same as my truck. And with a wife and kid... I'd kill for a fuel stop to only take half an hour

Not sure about elsewhere but in the Acadiana area there two charging station I know of along I-10. One at the Louisiana Ave shopping center and another at the Breaux Bridge Wal-Mart. I'm sure there's more within a few miles of I-10 elsewhere.

Quick and heavy

Why?

It's the perfect vehicle to do what he did, I doubt you could find a more perfect vehicle if you tried.

The RV hookups? I don't think they keep the power on to those outside of football games

I'm sure the the new future bucees will have a frick ton of EV charging stations right across the interstate from the ones currently at the target

It takes him 3 stops consistently.

An electric truck like that makes a lot of sense from the terrorists point of view.

Better acceleration than a normal ICE truck. Heavier than a normal ICE truck. Quieter than a normal ICE truck.

So 2 electric vehicles used in attacks, one in new Orleans and one in Las Vegas. I'd say there might be something to that.
