Anyone know how to recover the unlock code on an F-150?

I just bought a used 2021 and I don’t know the keypad unlock code. My last F-150 was new and came with a card that gave the code but this used one didn’t have that.

Anyway to figure this code out? TIA.

It should be on the settings screen in the car and you can reset it? It’s been a while since I had to do it but I’m pretty sure you can do it through the dash screen or mobile app.

That’s true but to reset you have to input the factory code change or reset.

To add the truck to the app you have to reset through the dash screen. Got a new phone and had to do this

It is stamped on the passenger side door jam/kick plate, I believe. My B-I-L retrieved mine for me.

Video says up tp 2014 but mine is a 2019 and its there.

There is a smart key slot under that rubber mat on the center console. You have to have both keys go though a series of commands. That was for a 20’. Google will find

I thought it was on a sticker I. The glove compartment. Might be thinking of something else though.

I thought that too, about the hidden smart key, but not on the 2020 platinums apparently, at least with the console shifter, unless it is somewhere else, I couldn't find anywhere that looked like the hidden key spot. The key fob has a real key that you can pull out to get in and crank it. For the 2020 year model (Covid probably and penny pinching) I guess lead to some bullshite. But it could be when and where it was made.

I think Ford cut some corners, the back headrests don't flip down (whereas my 18 xlt they would automatically fold down when you tucked the rear seats up), on other 18's and 19's there is a button on the actual head rest, but on the 2020's, at least the ones I've seen and the one I have there is no button on the rear head rest so all you can do is take them out or buy the parts from a 18-19 and retro fit it in the seats and put your leather back over another set of old headrests.

Factory reset code should be in the manual, but you can do it through the screen or the app.

There is a book in the glove box and
It should give you the factory numbers, reset everything on your dash and set new numbers

Here’s a hint:

Two keys are needed.

mine was printed inside the glovebox on the firewall.

I had to remove a panel to get to it though

Get both keys. Use first one and turn the key in the on position without starting the truck. Remove and do the exact thing with the other key and the code will flash on the screen by the odometer.

I agree with the phone app. I hardly use the keypad anyway because of the phone app and I just touch the handle and it unlocks since I always have my keys in my pocket.

I literally forgot about the keypad lol

Look on top of ECM behind the passenger kick panel.
