Why would it be alarming. If they meant us harm they would have already attacked. The odds of them being aggressive is no greater than them being peaceable.

Like most people, I would be scared shitless.
The unknown is always terrifying. An alien species with presumably superior technology and knowledge being able to come here would raise many more questions than answers. Endless possibilities. Many of them good and many of them bad.

That really is a good comparison. The world is only as big as you know it to be and to those tribes, it didn’t exist past the ocean.
Then we slaughtered them and stole their land and now their drunk an on preservations.

That's funny. They just used technology beyond our wildest imagination to get here but somehow "they're" no competition. If they were hostile, they'd erase everything within 500 miles before even touching down. And we damn well aren't going to sneak up on them with any current weapon known to mankind. We'd be overmatched from the start.
