Do they not have anything better to do?

School wont release kids til 3 and parents start lining up at 1:30 to wait in line so they can be first.

I leave the house at 3 and theres no wait for me.

You can't let them precious babies wait 1 minute longer than necessary.

You’d be surprised by the nefarious stuff women do when all alone in their vehicle with nothing but their phone and contents of their purse.

We live in the age of helicopter parents.

Most of these people would drop the kids off and never leave campus if they didn’t have other obligations.

Because mom doesn’t work and neither does grandma. Nothing better to do.

How do you know they are there that early. Unless you get there that early.

Sounds like you want to be 1st in line. Leave earlier.

No one works anymore. They just buy Suburbans and sit in school lines all day.

I have showed up an hour before. Kid has a lesson at 3:45. If I don't get there by 2:30, then it could be 4 before I actually get out of there.

If you have a remote job and can work in the car, it's not a terrible way to spend your time.

My FIL pitched in when our kids were young. He was retired, got in line an hour early and just sat there reading the newspaper each day.

Folks getting there early to pick up >>>>>> Folks trying to drop off their kids before the school doors are even open

The morning folks were always the worst.

The last time I’ve been in a carpool lane was probably 1999 or so, but I noticed that even then.

One guy’s mom would show up more than an hour before school was out.

I figure it is a mixture of having no job, limited community involvement, no hobbies or interests, and on the plus side for the husband, no affairs.
