Hypnopompic hallucination is the real answer to your question.

Nice. I've never saw/heard of that version. I always felt that night terrors were not QUITE exactly the right explanation, but it was the closest I've ever read about it.

I think ghosts are real. The question is whether or not they are conscious entities.

You were probably dreaming, but you thought you were awake.

I don't believe in "ghost" or paranormal stuff. I think when people claim to see ghost, its usually created by their subconscious.

Very disappointed in the OT that it took to page 2 for a pics request.

Similar to sleepwalking I would assume. I've only had two sleepwalking incidents in my life that I could remember the dream I was having while it occurred. When I was six I had a dream I woke up and walked into my sister's room (no pics) but I was actually in our laundry room, which woke me up when I tripped over a laundry basket in the dark. The second time, I had a dream I woke up to take a piss, and in my dream, clear as day I could see myself peeing in the toilet, but I woke up because in actuality I was peeing in LSUTangerine's mom's mouth. I think that's probably something similar to what you experienced.

Nah, my real account was banned ages ago. This one is just one that seemed legit enough to get me back on the site. I have no affiliation with Squirrels, large or small. Don't shoot them, like them, or enjoy the taste of them in stews or whatnot.

FWIW, that first story is true, and my best guess as to what really happened to the OP.

Got it. Had a buddy from LSU from Deridder that used to post here and I thought he had squirrel somewhere in his name.
