Expert predicting we will be dealing with this for 18 months to 2 years

“The new coronavirus is likely to keep spreading for at least another 18 months to two years—until 60% to 70% of the population has been infected, a team of longstanding pandemic experts predicted in a report released Thursday”
Yet all of these clowns think we will get to herd immunity by everyone staying home. If an area isn’t a threat to overwheming the medical system, we need to work on herd immunity.

bullshite. SARS begin to spread in February of 2003. It was gone by 2004 without any confirmed cases globally since then.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is a viral respiratory illness caused by a coronavirus called SARS-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV). SARS was first reported in Asia in February 2003.
The illness spread to more than two dozen countries in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia before the SARS global outbreak of 2003 was contained.
Since 2004, there have not been any known cases of SARS reported anywhere in the world.

It is a virus that kills less than .5% of those it infects. Most of those who die are already on death's doorstep for reasons wholly unrelated to the virus. Most people who get it don't even know they have it. It is past time for us to get back to work and carry on. Will there be deaths? Yes, but there is no other way. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is what it is.

Different virus.
Far more deadly, and far less contagious (thankfully).
That’s easier to stop.

Now people may understand why Sweden has taken the approach it has. We'll have to see how it plays out, but many are saying that they will reach this point quite soon.
