I'm just confused about what your point is. It came off as if you're wondering if the British government will cover up/harass Americans talking about a pedo arrested in America the way they cover up rape gangs in Europe.

It's mostly Christians in the UK that have done FA about the latter.

All Christian churches and just about every secular organization out there has had perverts who abuse children and has tried to cover it up. It’s not unique to the Catholic Church.

As an atheist and former lefty, this always stood out to me.
Every Christian I know wants these people removed from the church and punished, whereas progressives want to protect these people and cancel anyone who finds their behavior awful (pun intended there)

Why we haven’t decided as a modern society to start executing these sick fricks on first offense is beyond me. Anyone who even attempts to harm a child in any way like that should be removed from the gene pool immediately and without hesitation or remorse.
I’d even extend that to the ones who get caught just trying to set up a meeting online. No redeeming qualities. You don’t deserve to be alive even if it isn’t your fault and we’re somehow born that way.
