I just buy the rubbers from toyota and change them out every 8 months or so. Much cheaper than buy new blades. A set of rubbers costs me the same as the cheap brands

I have oem arms and I replace the blade with oem replacements. I don’t typically buy oem parts but the Lexus ones are way better than anything else I’ve found and by only replacing the rubber, it’s cheaper.

Pour Coca Cola on windshield like a man.
Or buy the middle of road. Fancy ones have been no better imo. Biggest difference is treating older windshield.

Buy any, with a piece of 2' long, 1" PVC, with two endcaps. Once a month, put your blades into the PVC with a shot glass of Armorall. Cap it, then shake it. Remove blades, dry off excess, and replace blades. Cap off PVC to save remaining Armorall until next month
Why wouldn’t just wipe them down with an Armorall soaked rag or even better, apply Rain X on your windshield. I feel like the juice in your method isn’t worth the squeeze.

I got the high-end michelin walmart wipers and there is a huge difference than the bosch. Worth spending like 12 bucks per wiper imo.

Changing them regularly is more important.

Yes. I had some cheap ones that broke in less than 5 months.

Wipers are for pussies.
I tried it on mine once. It worked pretty well when driving fast, with no traffic, on the interstate. I had to turn them on when passing trucks, or being passes by any vehicle.

Have had good results with Bosch Icon wiper blades.

Need holy water and steel blades during love bug season.

the more expensive ones are noticeably better, but installing them guarantees a rain followed by a hard freeze. when you park in the rain, you forget to turn off the wipers. when you start your car in the morning, the wipers will sacrifice their perfect $38 edge to protect the coating of ice on the windshield.

I bought some off brand wipers off Amazon for $17 and have been having them for about 4 years now with no issues. They are the wide blade ones. I used to buy the rain-x and every 6 months I needed to replace them.

Cleaning and treating my windshields with rain-x makes wipers almost unnecessary. Add to that the rain-x bug juice, and one application will last for years.

The newer single piece blades work better for a much longer time. They didn't have a single piece blade for the rear on my SUV and I have replaced it twice since I last bought single use blades for the front and it needs to be replaced again. I just clean the front blades if they start to streak, they don't streak often.

I like his channel. He actually does the unthinkable; he indicates the country of manufacture origin.

Wiper blades used to last a good 10 years
Rubber cracks in 10 years with Louisiana heat. No wiper last 10 years ever.

I have Rain-X blades and Rain-X fluid and I can't use my wipers unless I'm on the interstate, I have to manually hit the switch every now and again on surface streets. The auto-sensor setting goes insane compared to how much water actually can stay on the windshield.
I will say though, Ford OEM blades are shite and I think I replaced mine after 5k miles on a brand new truck.
