my problem with them, and I see it all the time with St. Charles and Canal st. trolleys, is they are back to back most of the time, Two cars right behind each other or even three, then you have to wait almost a hour or so for the next car to pass. They have radios and dispatch so space that shite out and make it right

Boh Brothers sucks.
Anyone who works for them sucks and probably has a drinking problem.

This happens with buses as well.

They are supposed to run on a schedule. The drivers need more training and there needs to be more enforcement to make sure the schedule is legit and can be actually held, and that it is actually held.

Curious where you heard this. I've seen several articles of late on expansion, and this was never part of the plans. What has been discussed:

1) Extending the now under construction St Claude line to Poland, down Poland to the river by the new cruise terminal, and back down the river

2) Extending from St Claude down Elysian Fields to Riverfront line

3) Connecting down Carrollton from the terminus near Claiborne down to the into the Canal line.

1 and 3 both require figuring out how to navigate train tracks - 1 is at grade and 3 is below grade. I would not think 1 would be an issue, provided the railroad cooperates. 3 might be harder, as I'm guessing you would have to build some sort of structure to go over the tracks.

Personally, I'd like to see the streetcars make a right turn at City Park Ave, and then see a line turn back onto Canal Blvd and go to the lake, and also see a line continue on City Park Avenue to Carrollton and tie in.

And maybe while they are at it, they can fix the red light on Canal and City Park Avenue... the left turn lane onto City Park Avenue towards I-10 is an absolute disaster.
