Edit - And as mentioned, game threads / pro draft threads can up your post count with a vengeance depending on what happens.

They are socializing.

I assume most of the people in the game threads are watching the games by themselves, thus they go to tRant to socialize during the game.

some of us have jobs that afford us the ability to sit on the forums all day and still get work done. I travel for work, so sometimes I am on the forums posting from the planes. technically I am traveling for work.
