WTF is a Radon mitigation system? That doesn't sound great

Radon is a gas that is naturally released from Granite rock and is known to cause lung cancer. Most homes with basements up North and in mountainous areas with lots of granite mixed in the soil require Radon mitigation systems.

Tenant should be made to clean the entire house with their tongue. I hate trash that damages someone else's property.

What kind of piece of human refuse does this to a house they don't own? I'm not a violent person by nature but if I was the owner I'd be hiring an enforcer to find these shitbags and kneecap them. This is like keying someone's car, a real bitch move

Yep. I think we will reach a point where that’s exactly what happens. Since there is essentially no recourse with low class renters (they have no money) and the judicial system is an absolute joke at this point, I can see us getting to a
Point where vigilante justice is delivered in all its brutality.

I wouldn’t vote to convict the purveyor of such justice in a situation like this. I’d acquit even if he murdered them. It’s justified in this case IMO. And a message needs to be sent.

Curious how many times this has occurred for insurance fraud

A dishonest policyholder? Perish the thought. A lot of claimants will claim every little minor scratch, dent or ding as vandalism. Yeah, sorry....wear and tear or tenant neglect isn't covered. There needs to be malicious intent. I had one I swear was fraud. Somebody took a hammer and chipped ONE floor tile in every single room as well as one wall tile in each bathroom. They also dented every appliance and slashed every cushioned chair, sofa and mattress. If I was going to commit fraud, that would have been the textbook example of how to maximize your claim.

DO NOT OPEN FREEZER IN BASEMENT.

I get not wanting to touch the property but there are things they can do to make the property a little better to sell. Why in the frick would one of those things NOT be getting the freezer out of the house and disposed of? Leave the rest like it is but that seems like a no brainer to me of things to do before trying to sell the property.

Sold for $580,000 in case anyone was curious, according to Zillow.

Probably not a bad investment - especially if the buyer wants to live their long term and has the means to afford the rehab materials.

Betting a contractor or construction expert snapped it up

Some Cali liberal probably felt like they were getting a steal by going down 10k.

I suppose the ex-tenant was evicted.

I’d legit go to near bankruptcy in lawyer fees to make sure the old tenet/s had all of their wages, SO wages and children’s wages garnished until every dime of the repairs was paid in full

…or I’d Law Abiding Citizen-Esque kill each and every one of them for being shitty human beings and no 12 person jury would convict
