Ever wonder about the mind of a sociopath?

What do you suppose people like Deangelo or Cosby think about when they lay down to bed? I, like most, people usually pray or reflect on my life. Do sociopaths even have the capacity to believe in God or recognize their sins? If they do, how can they not go insane over the fear of what happens when they meet their maker?

I feel bad for people who need to be motivated by religion to do the right thing. I’m motivated by basic human decency and compassion for my fellow man, not some selfish motivation that if I do wrong I’ll be punished in the after life.

Sometimes I wonder if I am. I don’t feel much empathy.

A defining characteristic of a sociopath is a lack of empathy, so no, they don’t think about the hurt they cause others, or at least not in a way that would make them stop.
