Saw Moon Taxi in a random arse field in Mississippi. They're up and coming, and were recently on Letterman.

When I was a senior in high school I knew this German foreign exchange student. Her grandparents used to go to this bar in Hamburg to watch some band called The Beatles play. And this was back when Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best were still in the line-up.

I don't think this counts but when I was a kid I would go over to Benji Davis' house and him and his older brother Amos loved Michael Jackson and spent the majority of their time dancing to music videos.

Nice! You saw Bad Religion in 91'/92'? That's awesome. I'm jealous. Didn't get to see them until 1997.

Not me but my brother had ZZ play at his 9th grade prom dance in 1967. Billy Gibbon had an aunt that taught there.
Cool huh?

Saw train open for collective soul in the rosa hart theater in lake charles in June, 1999. Had never heard of them prior. Was blown away at their sound and especially their rendition of ramble on.

I saw Moon Taxi several times starting around 07-08. Their lead singer is from Vestavia and his mom is a teacher at VHHS. I hung out with them in their trailer at Bonnaroo last year and we talked about the Birmingham music and bar scene. Nice guys.
