Some of the OT likes to get that SJW flag up in a hurry, to show they "understand ".

A friend of mine was just telling me a couple weeks ago how he was having lunch with a coworker at IHOP when he overheard the table of two black guys near them. One of them was going on about how much he hated white people and was bragging about having killed someone. I wasn't there, but apparently my friend's coworker had to calm him down not to say something. I wouldn't ever confront someone like that. You have no idea if they're packing or not. And if the guy really hates white people he'd probably beat your arse if he was in decent enough shape.

I'm talking to him right now about it since he called me at work. He said the guy said how black people are kings and whites are peasants, and something about 'that's why I go hunting, so I can get out all of my frustrations.'

And he clarified the killing thing saying it was something along the lines he killed someone or could have someone killed.

You also know there are people that think like this that just aren't vocal about it. It obviously also goes both ways. This country will never really get over slavery. Not sure how it is in Germany with World War II, but I feel they've done a better job getting past that and it only happened 80 years ago. We still can't get the frick over slavery and it happened 160 years go. I do understand we really haven't been equal since the 60s though, but still.

People don't realize how many black people who hate white people are out there.

I guess it is hard to understander when you don't have friends, but you do realize a lot of people do have friends and things happen and there are stories that are sometimes relevant to a subject right?

It just goes down to how people are raised. If they are raised to feel they're victims they will carry that with them through life. Black American aren't born hating white people and vice versa. The other way would be someone being raised to think they're better than someone because of their race, so just replace victim with that. A person of any race could be raised to believe their race is better as well. It's just people having kids that shouldn't that don't teach their kids the right values and how to interact with others. It's always the smart people that don't have kids.

The definition of racism has been twisted to the point of breaking and now it is in little tiny pieces.

"Racism" is valuing one race over another, particularly based on immutable characteristics outside the various individuals' control.

If I say, "the prevailing culture of black folks in America is fricked up" - I could be "wrong" as you suggest and folks are free to offer rebuttal evidence, exemptions, explanations, etc.

Hell, I could be racist or at least hold secretly racist thoughts, but that naked statement isn't per se racist. Period.

Saw a link from here to a trans person vilifying straight men who don't date trans women, and said they "lower their standards" by dating black women.

I wasn't outraged, just thought Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. That person came right out and said an entire race of people was inferior. Not an unfair and stereotypical generalization - an outright claim of black people being inferior. The very definition of racism.

That lady was an idiot and probably deservedly caught a lot of flak following the incident.

It was funny tho, there were sone ruckus going on but really not too much. The case of a few ruining it for everyone. Then she said that and all hell broke loose. She proceeded to literally piss of every black person in the room. I even thought one of those graduates was about to attack her.
