Yes, yes I have! The last 4-6 months of drinking, I lost everything. Family, friends, and almost my life. That was true he’ll to me!

I've been there, man. Lost everything, including my freedom for 10 months all because of vodka. Luckily, my family stuck by me and my relationship has never been better with them since I've turned it around. 2.5 years sober! Email be at my username@gmail.com if you ever need to talk. Keep it up, you can and will get everything back and in my case I'm on more solid ground than I have been in 10 years.

Oweo contributes at least. Someone has to make threads.

Well, since this thread turned serious, being in a coma is what I imagine hell to be like.

What ALS patients go through at the end is what I think of as a living hell. They've lost all ability to move and communicate and they just lay there looking at you. Lost my MIL to that damned disease 23 years ago. I'll never forget what she was like at the end. So frustrating and sad.

You haven’t lived until you pull over on the highway and shite in the woods between exits wiping with both socks. The best part is trying to walk into Walmart and buy new socks without getting blisters at the next exit.

I found your socks, bro. I'll mail them to you if you'd like. Also, I think you have worms.

My dad died of dementia, but he had lucid moments until the very end. In several of those, he begged my brother and me to let him die. He was falling down the hole, knew it and knew there was no way to stop it. I have not been to hell, but I have seen my Dad when he was there.

Shame on me - I was relieved when he got pneumonia and died.

25 years of a simply awful mother in law that even my wife admitted a couple of years after she died was glad she was gone.

The saddest part is that he lost a ban bet and shouldn’t even be posting.

Let’s see:
I had to continue living in the same house with my ex-wife while she banged other people for a few months, I had to live with my parents in my mid 20’s, and I had to spend several months commuting from St. Amant to downtown BR then down to Gonzales and back to BR most every day. I think I’ve lived it, yes.
