Take my advice and lawyer up right now...if nothing comes of it, you will at least get an education on how to protect yourself long-term. Believe me, if you wait until you hear from her lawyer, you have waited too long.

FWIW, it takes some gonads, but your best bet is to lawyer up and go on the offensive right now...though men seldom have the stomach to do that.
