Uninsured motorist coverage is generally for medical bills, not collision (depending on the state).

Yes. My wife was in a similar situation.
File with your insurance. Give them contact information for police report.

Turn it over to your insurance company.
They will pay for your repair and go after the General for the damages.

Better tell The General to pay up.

Yep. A little over three weeks ago some ditchpig slammed into my wife. She pushed my wife into the vehicle in front of her. Wife's car was totaled. The ditchpig had 10k of insurance.
We went through our insurance. We lost the $500 deductible, but they handed us a check about 5 business days later. Our insurance is going to go after her for the money that is owed, beyond what her little bit will pay.

Yep when I was a sophomore in high school, I had this bitch senior back into my driver side door as I was driving across the parking lot. She claimed I hit her and the cop wouldnt claim she was at fault bc it was in a private parking lot.
When State Farm called me, they said I hit her and my response was,”lady unless you can teach me how to drive a car sideways, its absolutely impossible for me to have hit her”. They still denied the claim and my dad refused to pursue any further bc the car wasnt worth very much. I was super pissed bc it was all about the principle of the situation with state farm not taking ownership that their client was in the wrong and that she also lied.

I'm fighting with an insurance co right now over a $340 scratch their client put on my truck. It's been three weeks, and they still haven't paid up. I don't even need a rental car.
My next move is to threaten to sue. I can't help but think, why is worth it to them to fight a $340 claim?

National General must specialize in illegal immigrants. They paid the claim when The unlicensed son of an immigrant hit my wife this year

Different situation.... but a couple of years ago my wife had a small fender bender with vehicle in front of her. They pull to the side of the road. No noticeable damage to either vehicle. The man she hit hit ask for money instead of calling the cops. So my wife calls the cops. State Trooper pulls up she gets a ticket and is at fault however the man she hit is arrested. He has no license and the vehicle belongs to his boss. The mans legal status is also questionable. He ends up getting a lawyer who serves only illegals and sues our insurance. He gets 20000 for pain and suffering even though he has no license, warrant for arrest and is illegal. So of course our insurance rates go up..... We got some screwed up laws. Would not have minded the situation if the guy had a license and was a citizen.

Mother fricking me over the last 3 weeks. Some piece of shite kid pulled out in front of me 3 weeks ago and I T boned him. He has some shitty insurance called aggressive insurance. He lied to them about what happened and they've been denying my claim and not even bothering to look at the vehicles. I'll get drunk one night and post his driver's license.

File on your insurance, depending on your policy, and your insurance company should cover it. They will then subjugate the Other driver’s insurance.

What’s the police report say? Don’t matter what he tells his insurance.
Posted on 12/29/18 at 3:11 pm to TigerRagAndrew
No police report. He left before the cop showed up so he couldn't assign blame. Texas is a no fault state now, apparently.

Yeah, I was thinking it should definitely be against the law everywhere for a vehicle insurer to not pay a claim in which their client is cited for fault.
