Y'all are overestimating the Estherwood Police Dept. They just write tickets on Hwy 90.

The Chief:

quote:

This I don’t really understand it start off with. He done it. He said it and he realized what he had done after he done it and he deleted it but it was too late.” said Villejoin.

Assistant Chief Welsh:

quote:

"Well, I posted something on Facebook that made a lot of people mad," he wrote. "Well, I'm sorry for what happen. Ya have a blessed day."

quote:

"I shared somebody else's posts and everybody mad at me again," he wrote. "So Facebook police mad at me."

If this is the entirety of the Estherwood Police force, I've got real concerns about their ability to "read" people their Miranda rights

Transcribing this quote for the story had to have been a blast.

They do look like trash bags in the 3rd pic. Why is it wrong to say that?

The cop is probably not racist at all, just doesn't want his daughter to marry outside the race.

The fact that someone who probably makes life and death decisions on a daily basis would think that would be ok to put on social media just blows my mind.

This is what you get with small town police forces. A bunch of fat, ignorant, sadists making $10 an hour patrolling the streets.

I agree with you. I work with some really intelligent blacks who would be pissed if there daughter brought home a white guy. However, it's irrelevant what this dude meant. He is an idiot if he thinks this wouldn't become a big deal. That's the more concerning part.

Yep. Same goes for local correctional facilities. You pay 17k a year and the only applicants you get is some dude whose cousin or best friend is locked up. Guess what happens next lol

There isn't too much of a difference between the jailers and the inmates in most parishes. I think I'd rather be in Angola than most of the jails in populated parishes.

That's enough for me. Thanks, chief.
