1) Statues
What else is needed?
In all seriousness, he did three things I think are of value.
1) Brought City Hall into the somewhat current century when it comes to technology and getting things accomplished at City Hall. Doing business with City Hall these days still sucks but it sucks a lot less than it used to.
2) Got a compromise on the fire pension issue
3) Got the S&WB on a path towards some respect of financial solvency.
All of these things caused an increase in tax dollars, however.

Right wingers don't get "triggered". That's a stupid snowflake term.

What does "triggered" mean?

I say it when some lunatic is upset about the color of the stick figure on a bathroom door sign.
SJWs say it when I show an honest concern for my city and tax money.

Does he really have a confirmed side piece ? And a baby ?

Mitch literally created an environment that gets more black people killed than anyone else.

I am not even from the state but from reading threads you are some special kind of stupid.

On Saturday (July 1) at 11:55 a.m., New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu will discuss current urban triumphs and challenges with Baton Rouge Mayor Sharon Broome and Baltimore Mayor Catherine E. Pugh at the Empowerment Stage at the convention center.

I told you, yet people continue to try and underestimate this guy.
He is the progressives #1 guy.
He took on racist Southerners, and won. He fought for inclusion, he took on White privilege and beat it back with both hands.
Hopefully some of you finally listen, Mitch is the favorite son of the Progressives and continues to gain steam. His people are doing one hell of a job.

What are you talking about? NOPD increased their ranks by 5 whole officers last year (actually they hired 124 over the past year but 119 officers left NOPD over the last year).
And he knows how to spend taxpayer money.
quote:
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Improvements to Lieutenant Governor Mitch Landrieu's office in the Capitol Annex and creation of his apartment and office at the Pentagon Barracks have cost taxpayers $955,000 since he was elected in 2003.
quote:
Public records show the Pentagon Barracks work added up to $419,000, and the improvements at his main office to $536,000. Most of it went for basic materials and labor. But the projects include better carpeting in the executive suite, a decorative glass partition in the reception area and ten-thousand dollars for an interior design firm.
And let's not forget that while he was LT Gov he had a whole separate set of offices being leased in New Orleans (which also had to be furnished with desks, chairs, paintings) with many of the people working in that office also having office space in Baton Rouge.
And there was the time he was at a tourism shindig in Little Rock and had to have a limo to pick him up and drive him the 5 blocks from the event to his hotel and back.
And he insisted on having state troopers drive him everyone when he was Lt Gov.
Mitch Landrieu - a politician's politician.

He has a black side piece. Does that count as an accomplishment?

I hope they try to run him for President in 2020. Not only would he not win his own state in the general election, he possibly might not win it in the Democratic primary.

That depends on Mitch, if he gets a high paying gig with Dems, maybe he stays put there, but with all the steam he's getting, he could be pushed to being their candidate.
It will be hard for Liberals to steal the progressives vote this time. Progressives could push Mitch all the way to running.
I told the story of progressives i know, literally fawning over Mitch. They think he's their savior.

Sure it is - there is more black on black crime because of the environment that he allows to flourish.
