To be fair, if it was a murdered white guy we never would have heard about it. Therefore no serious media coverage. Therefore no widespread outrage. Therefore no multimillion dollar settlement.

How much is Kate's family getting from S.F. and their screwed up, corrupt system? They could ask for a lot of money as well, but I think they would be satisfied with a simple apology, which has yet to come.

Kate Steinle wasn't killed by an agent of the state, though I agree that the government is partially responsible.

Trayvon and Brown were pieces of shite, but Garner didn't deserve to die for selling cigarettes. Sharpton is a POS as well, but I'm not too up in arms about this settlement.
