If they had any sense of self-interest, they wouldn’t be chanting that stuff.
What are they going to do, protest or sue the general public for not buying tickets, not watching on t.v., and not buying merchandise for the women’s soccer as
much as for men’s?
They should try not to alienate half of their potential supporters with their anti-Trump antics, and work to entice more people to watch them.

Apparently the women have been generating more money then the men lately so there might actually be a good case here.
Problem is you also have morons chanting wage gap on the national level when there isn't one. This looks like a time where a legit complaint is drowned out because of all the faux bullshite being spewed out

They make a larger share of the revenue than the men. It's something like 9% of revenue versus 7% for the men. I just read a forbes article saying that they would be making 5x higher than the tournament brings in if they got equal pay. Stupid stuff.

This is correct, but 13% of 38 million is a lot less than 7% of 4 billion.

One thing no one seems to understand is that fifa determines how much money is given out, it’s not anything anyone in the USA can control no matter how much they bitch and moan and protest. Just because the US women bring in more than the men doesn’t mean it’s the case anywhere else, because it isn’t. No one gives a shite about women’s soccer anywhere else in the world. The men make more because it’s the most watched and most popular sporting contest on the face of the earth. The fact that the US didn’t get in didn’t matter to anyone.
