I think we in southeast Louisiana should be exempt. We kicked Covid’s butt. I mean Ida came and I haven’t really heard about C19. It’s almost like we have more pressing issues so C19 isn’t so such a big thing right now.

The delta variant isn’t more dangerous. Just easily transmitted. Still doesn’t kill at a higher rate than the original variant. So that’s a stupid reason to change your mind.

As someone who is vaccinated, this won’t affect me personally. But frick these mandates. frick the lockdowns. frick the masks. frick it all. It pisses me off that the government thinks it has the power to do this. We’ve capitulated enough for long enough. This isn’t what I want my son growing up to be “normal.”

I had Covid last month. Why the frick should I get vaccinated especially when I'm at basically zero risk? Literally was a mild fever and mild body aches for a few days. I would feel 100 times worse if I had to get vaccinated.
