For shits and giggles, and my own information, I google jobs assosiated with new data centers. This is from the one in Nashville:

So it's not that far fetched that the Holly Ridge data center, the largest of it's kind, and almost 3 times the size of Nashville, could support close to 500 jobs.
I also texted a friend very much in the know about the site and ask about the lack of parking on the sketch. To which he replied "that rendering just shows the footprint of the structures and does not include parking lots".
Take that for what it's worth you nay sayers....

Earlier this month, one of its newest data centers was completed outside of Nashville. The 800-acre campus has two buildings totaling more than 1.5 million square feet, with plans for a third underway. The $1.5 billion facility employed 1,100 construction workers while it was being built and now has 100 full-time employees.

The only way there could be that many jobs is if it is a campus where there are several other buildings, too.
Or if they were counting the Powerplant jobs too.

They’re counting the HVAC technicians there to keep that overheating pile of servers cool.

Union of Concerned Scientists was launched with funding from Russia in the 1980's to try to stop nuclear weapons manufacturing in the USA.
They have always been a far leftist operation of a few dozen far leftist scientists.

Answer: 500 jobs ELSEWHERE
I don't know how many people it takes to perform daily operations at a data center.
I also don't know how many people it takes to operate three power plants.
I do know this state needs every job it can get.

You seem to cut and paste a lot of energy related articles. Any commentary/opinions?
