No need to destroy his car.
Just unplug the charger and sell it on Craigslist. You could get $200-250 in a day.

The nerve of some people never ceases to amaze me.

Cut the end off his cord and trash it then fill that receptacle with epoxy.
Probably squirt a shite load of superglue in his door handles and locks.

The best thing would be to call a tow truck company from another city.

tethered to his house via an electrical cord plugged into an outside 120V outlet on his house.
How is this possible? 120V simply cannot put out the amperage needed for a model 3. (It takes 32A. 120V can only do 20A safely). You would need a 240V outlets. Moreover, how would you connect the cable to a 120V outlet when the pins are completely different?

Looks like it’s parked on the public easement. The homeowner doesn’t own that land. Now, the electricity use is clearly theft.
Which is such a bunch of bullshite. Homeowner doesn’t own it yet is required to maintain it.

Something like a rotophase built into the charging pack?
Who has 220 in their garage to charge it?
Think about it.

Good thing it was a Tesla or the dude would have woken up to a well and refinery in his yard.

Ever see what brake fluid does to a paint job? Yeah they would have found out if they were stealing my electricity.

Technically you can connect your Tesla to a standard 110v plug receptacle with the free adapter that comes with the car. But you can only charge slowly–at about 3 miles of range per hour parked. It’s about as practical as refilling a gas car’s tank with an eye dropper. It will take up to 4 full days to fully recharge an empty Tesla car battery using a regular wall outlet.

Impractical, yea, but I guess if you’re in a bind and are going to sleep anyway a few hours on a standard plug will give you at least something.
