Made mostly using Tesla Model 3 parts, including its 15" touch screen infotainment system, which controls everything on the ventilator. Pretty cool

Prayers out to anyone having to be hooked up to any ventilators. That shite seems scary as frick.

So what will happen with all of these when this is "done"? And I'm praying that we won't need what they're making.

They drive themselves back to California to be recycled.

Dyson Vacuum designed a vent in 10 days and is making 15000 of them for Britain. 5000 of which is donated. Ready in April.

What's required here is mass production of down and dirty ventilators that aren't perfect, aren't top of the line, but are good enough. To do that, the medical community needs to publish the specs and requirements of what they need, the FDA and the government need to get the frick out of the way, and companies need to be protected from the inevitable "were you or a loved one treated by ventilator?" commercials.
ETA: QUICK mass production. It does us no good to make a million ventilators three years from now. We need agility.

Neat but I hope my life doesn't end up depending on a Tesla machine.
They can't even supply collision parts in 2-3 months to get cars repaired.
