Making the whole thing even more absurd, is that California is pledging to achieve these goals while closing the state’s last remaining nuclear power plant, the Diablo Canyon Power Plant, which by itself produces nearly 10% of all the juice consumed in California.
Abandoning nuclear energy while trying to achieve zero emissions is complete lunacy. What are their reasons for closing this down? Posted on 6/29/21 at 10:06 am to member12
But the socialist left say that all we need are windmills and solar panels to solve this problem.

They'll have to do the same thing with water pretty soon.
Yeah, seems like water is the bigger imminent crisis out there.

Got a buddy that works as a lineman. Predicted this. On top of the drought screwing up hydroelectric and heat wave. Just a bad combo. Infrastructure is trash in a merica

Nuclear needs to be setup at groom lake in Nevada. Bunch of nothing there even if there was meltdown.

Had the retards not shunned nuclear decades ago, we wouldn't have energy issues or climate change.

in America?
Because this sounds like a California problem to me.
Also, as compared to what country our size and with our population is our Infrastructure trash?

Where you gonna get the water?

Funny. My electric bill is half of what it was when I lived in alabama over a decade ago.

Import the water via pipeline from the ocean.

Yeah bridges are falling everywhere. The power grid is antiquated. If you don't think infrastructure is an issue and not just a civil concern but a national security threat u need some help. Maybe check out your local library.

Can confirm that infrastructure sucks in Louisiana too. Just in different ways. We have energy for days….but our highways and school systems are a joke.

Very much so. It's old and antiquated.

okay. that’s a bit aggressive just because i’m questioning your silly blanket statement.

never said that our infrastructure doesn’t need help, but again, this sounds like a California problem. I’m not sure my Texas tax dollars should be used for California poor planning and progressive energy spending.
