Tell him to seek out the new re-entry program. They should have told him about it before he was released.

Wrecker company. They employ more ex-cons than any other industry.

Here's a bit of advice for your relative. My brother got mixed up in drugs and spent a little time in the pen. He basically turned his whole life around, but the first 3 jobs he applied for(which he was highly qualified for), he was not hired because he answered honestly that he had been convicted of a felony in the last 3 years.
The next job he applied for he lied and checked "no" and was hired. That was probably 10 years ago and he's still at the same job. He told me, "what's the worst thing they can do if they find out? Fire me? That's no worse than not getting hired."

The worst is that they would have hired you if you hadn't lied but because you lied they see a continuing pattern of dishonesty and don't think you're worth the chance.

Wrong, driving record can be an issue but parole will not be.

No suggestions. Hope he's truly reformed and I wish him happiness and success.

Believe it or not the USPS will hire him. No, I'm not joking. In addition, the state has workforce development specialists that will assist him in getting a job.
