When he started campaigning for the Republican primaries, he was being typical Donald Trump. The other candidates sat back and watched the circus thinking he would eventually just go away, but he kept doing shite to the point the only thing being reported about the primaries was "what Donald Trump did or said". He used simple tactics that worked because the other candidates were doing little to challenge him.
He had a good campaign strategy team because they knew how to reach to a "silent" voter base.. People who normally didn't vote much.. If he was running against anyone else he would have lost. So yeah, while becoming president is still an incredible goal to reach, if he were running any other time he would have never won.

I listen to a lot of rap and had no idea Eminem was releasing a new album. I’m sure sitting down and analyzing his lyrics were real high on trumps to do list
