Visionaries are usually looked at as a little crazy. Most are are famous, or in a mental institution.
crazy or eccentric is only dependant as to how much money you have.

Given that Leftists get more vicious and angrier at minorities that don’t support their initiative, yeah they will. The Woke think white males are inherently evil and it’s in their very nature to be such, so they give them a slight break. Minorities though that don’t go along with their Woke ideology they view as full blown traitors. The Woke are racists who think they know what is best for minorities, and when they don’t they’ll hurl any racist insult that they can think of towards them.
Plus they care more about the gender pay gap over the race pay gap. They want minorities to be poor and oppressed so they rely on Democrats for sustenance. Plus they don’t consider Asians and Indians to be minorities.
I really think this should be the primary - numero uno - message of the next election. I've been suggesting this for a long time. It is the ONE THING that prevents conservative thought to prevail and allows dysfunctional governance to be 'voted in' year after year, decade after decade.
We need to take this message directly to the minority communities - and WARN the 'wokers' that the same fate is in store for them as has befallen the black community.
To the DEMOCRATs - all these things are disposable - to be used like toilet paper for THEIR immediate satisfaction, and after that is achieved toss them into the sewer - knowing their will be a plentiful supply the next time they have the urge. That is what they are creating = a generation of 'toilet paper' supporters - people who are GLAD to be toilet paper just waiting to be used, so long as NOTHING IS EXPECTED of them in the intervals between the need for DEMs to wipe their asses clean.
- DEMOCRATs are the only party that openly commits racism every day - their gauge every incident as good or bad depending on the races of the individuals involved.
=> black hurts another black = nothing to benefit from here (unless one of the blacks happens to be conservative) other wise ho-hum.
=> white hurts another white = same as above but without any concern, unless the race angle can somehow be inserted into the narrative.
=> white hurts a black = immediate outrage regardless of evidence, only intensified if there is a solid 'narrative' to build, otherwise allowed to slowly fade from the memory.
=> black hurts a white - ho-hum - whatever - report the event at some level to maintain semblance of 'covering the events' but no followup at all. UNLESS it is one of the conservative blacks hurting a woke white, but even then the circumstances have to be quite extreme to be given any message value. (these events are on the endangered species list)
Somehow this has to be beaten into any messaging targeted to the black community - all they ever hear is the 'white hurts black' narrative because any conservative black has long since abandoned that community.
And this will be hard - because there is NO WAY to allieviete the CURRENT status of the black community in terms of magically increasing their status to 'middle class' It cannot be done = impossible. They have to live with the conditions that created them, good or bad, with the aim of CHANGING THE SITUATION.
The only thing that can work is to drive home the message - DO IT FOR YOUR CHILDREN!!! Give your CHILDREN a way out of this morass you were born into.
Somebody with nothing to lose - but a big ego - and genuine patriotic credentials - and a history of treating people equally in his personal life - needs to wade into that morass and start delivering the "true news" and offer a message of hope "FOR THE CHILDREN"
I wonder if such a person exists

IMO the difference is that you worked something you believed in. Why would Twitter engineers strive to work 60-80 for a guy has been incompetent so far? His ideas so far don't scale economically.
https://www.reuters.com/breakingviews/musk-needs-third-america-pay-twitter-2022-11-15/
Twitter generated $5.2 billion in revenue in the four quarters before Musk bought it, but all of that – and then some – was spent on things like engineering salaries and infrastructure. Another $1.2 billion will start to go to interest payments annually, according to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings. Chalk that up, and Musk’s estimates for daily losses are spot on.
It gets worse. Advertising revenue across the industry has fallen since Twitter last reported public results. And changes to the platform have driven away advertisers, delivering a “massive” hit. Musk is axing costs to stay afloat, firing half of Twitter’s workforce and seeking $1 billion in other savings. Assume Musk finds those, research and development falls by half, and other expenses decrease a fifth. If revenue has dropped 30%, Twitter would still need $11 billion in new revenue to break even.
Put in context, Musk has a daunting task. Twitter would need to get around 6% of the U.S. digital advertising market, per IAB, or 115 million people paying $8 a month for a Twitter Blue subscription — a third of the U.S. population – assuming margins stay the same.
A Twitter Blue subscription isn’t like Spotify Technology (SPOT.N) or Netflix (NFLX.O), perhaps. Those platforms bear the cost of licensing content whereas Musk is trying to get Twitter users to pay for the privilege of providing content. If the cost of providing each extra subscription is zero, Musk needs only about a tenth as many subscribers to sign up. Still, that limited value proposition is perhaps why his blue-check experiment isn't working.

Yeah, if someone is willing to work 60-80 hours a week for a couple of months/years for big pay off in the end, I’ll give those people a second chance. I’m cool with Elon firing 90% and keeping the actual hard workers who aren’t communists.

So the Trump poll was just a way to identify bots and figure out how to elongate them.
People who think Elon doesn’t know what he is doing are fools.
I think I posted this in a different thread, but he in a stroke of genius sent out a mass email that each seemed to be identical, but they actually weren’t because there was a double space somewhere randomly and different for each employee. When the leaker then sent the bullshite email to the press, Elon knew instantly who did it due to the spacing. fricking hilarious.

Of course not. I didn’t claim it should.
Doesn’t change what I said one bit.

Because I don’t worship his every move blindly? I’m glad he’s rooting out the militant libs from Twitter. I just don’t give him the Trump Q-anon treatment of him being a master genius and even his frick ups are part of the master plan, seemlessly going to a new master plan when the old is proven false.
I spent more time defending him from morons who hated him as a representation of electric vehicles supplanting gas. And I follow SpaceX heavily and appreciate what they are pulling off there.
And if he wasn’t “owning the libs” I doubt you’d even have an opinion on this, you hyper partisan, black&white, binary bitch.
