I like Elon a lot better than other billionaires like Zuck or Gates, but that y’all have attached yourselves to him to such a degree is so silly. He doesn’t give a frick about anything other than money and power just like the rest of them. This post was edited on 8/29/24 at 8:56 am

King is just showing his hubris, self-importance, ignorance, arrogance, and meanness.
So does King lead a company that sends rockets into space? How successful has he been with that? So what puts him in a place to critique Musk? King probably doesn't know a damn thing about rocket engineering.
And why celebrate another's (short term) failure. The path to just about any success is paved with failures that (the smart ones) learn from.
Had King not started his attacks on Musk (I assume King went 1st, correct me if I'm wrong), I doubt Elon would have gone out there and posted something like that if Kings latest book was a flop.

I don’t think Trump is evil or anything. My issues with him are mostly that he cozies up to the religious right, who i do have a lot of disagreement with.

A SpaceX booster toppled over while LANDING.
How many other governments or companies have had, or even have on the drawing board, a booster that can LAND under power?
And no, STS was not a booster, it was a glider. It's boosters were discarded into the ocean.
Elon's company is doing something that most of the aerospace world considered impossible in our lifetimes as little as 10-15 years ago, loses one booster out of dozens, and he's the one "coping"?

i probably agree with yall on trans issues for the most part. Once someone is 18 and the government says is old enough to go overseas to fight, you can do whatever you want as far as i’m concerned as long as you’re not hurting anyone else. But before you’re 18 that’s a different story entirely. I’m sure somehow that makes me “far left” to y’all
