Uh, this isn't true. My buddy owns a crawfish farm and he hasn't heard from Elon Mush.

Crawfish are already that price in the real world. The people you buy them from are the ones ripping you off. In Opelousas today you can buy boiled crawfish for $2 per pound but you have to get in line

People in Texas have ruined it for me. They all willingly pay $7.99 boiled and cover it in hot sauce thinking they’re putting their own spin on it. I won’t eat it at a restaurant here.

Yeah man, it’s bad. I guess they justify the 7.99 by smothering undersized crawfish in some special sauce they created.

Truth. Docks and buyers are only paying farmers $1.25/lb for graded field run. Some even only paying peeler (small crawfish) price for the same stuff at $0.75/lb trying to drive the smaller producers to quit for the season. It's definitely not the farmers and fishermen driving the prices up right now
