He's lucky that the big boys who got involved are just debt providers and he's been making those payments. Other than that, he just has to answer to the Suadis, Dorsey, Larry Ellison, Vy and Sequoia plus a bunch of small guys who all collectively only own a little over 20% last I heard. What is somewhat surprising to me, is that they seem to be cool with Elon using X to pay that debt service for his personal ownership stake. But i imagine there's some creative accounting going on in the background for it because it's been a significant amount of money.

Haven’t been on x in a about 2 months, but there were a frickton of bot comments on almost every single tweet on my fyp. Has that changed recently?
It’s crazy how just a house of horrors Twitter has become with its new content algorithms. It’s specifically geared to make people enraged by exposing them to stuff that the algorithm knows will get them fired up.
Also, Elon’s plan to pay people for their content based off of engagement is breaking down society one shitty post at a time. Every wannabe on Twitter will just post the most insane take (left, right, or middle) just to piss people off and get engagement. I get his idea but it’s just turning people’s brains into mush. It’s almost as bad as Facebook now.

Ironically I get far less shite that fires me up than I did with the old Twitter. I have zero idea if it's making money or not, but based on my usage the bots are about the same amount, tad more porn (which is frustrating) but what actually seems to be a rounded opinion on things. My Twitter, even though I never followed anyone, was just far left dog shite from 2017 or so to a little after Elon bought it.

12 years ago it was standard protocol to release your phones into a locked steel box when visiting one of our sites in Asia. And we weren't doing anything which had any real espionage concern.

This will be my 4th tour and they’ve never asked for phones. The only thing they said was to ask before taking pictures. But, there are rules for some and other rules for the guys your wining and dining for a boat load of money.
