Yea, bro. It's totally a new thing. That's why sports are such a new phenomenon and really taken off since 2016.

Who is that in your avatar? Someone you're a fan of?

Also, don't confuse respect with admiration.

This would be a perfect marriage on many levels. Musk is the closest thing we have to a modern day wealthy visionary since Walt Disney himself.

Imagine how badass Epcot would be after Musk gives it an upgrade.

Imagine the billions Disney could make just by re-releasing films already in the can, in theaters, Snow White, Bambi, Pinnoccio, Dumbo etc, without spending a dime?

Imagine a theater re-release of the original The Little Mermaid. It would sell more tickets than Taylor Swift.

During his due dilligence, he discovered over half the users were bots, and tried to back out of the deal. The same people screaming about "hostile takeover!" then sued him to make him follow through on the deal once they were exposed as frauds. How those people are not in jail for major fiduciary crimes is amazing.

Would love to see it, but that is too big a bite. Even for Elon.

Once he reincorporates his businesses to Texas and pays himself a $55B salary, he will have recouped every penny of his Twitter purchase and then focus his sights on Disney, which for about $10B, he could buy in a huge take in the company and team up with Peltz to name a new CEO for Disney.

Elon's mission in life is to change the world. He can definitely have a huge impact as a controlling stakeholder in Disney.

Disney
ESPN
ABC
20th Century Fox

But part of me wants him to focus on SpaceX and get us to Mars and the Moon.

You must be one of the youngest people who post here. 2016 was a turning point for idolizing people who accomplish significant things?

I doubt this is real but if so the SEC is going to have some questions.

Why? He’s not doing anything wrong. It wouldn’t surprise me if he picks up a few %, and then gives Peltz his proxy to play with. He doesn’t even need to disclose his purchase if it’s less than 5%.

Sucking another's man's dick and saying "Well, actually this is good" anytime he does something stupid didn't seem so prevalent pre-2016.

Why?

Because they always have questions when someone who owns a publicly traded company wants to acquire another publicly traded company.

Just to be clear I’m not saying they should get involved. But they will if this is real. Book it.
