I'm in the camp of splitting the difference. Spring forward 30 minutes and then just leave it there.

Yea, I really struggle to think why someone would want this option

I think it’s a mistake to unattach a stigma to potheads.

I prefer to walk around in public without constantly smelling weed and knowing that those people drove there and are probably with their kids.

Either way the time zones are kind of dumb and need restructuring. It’s silly that in Huntsville, AL and in Odessa, TX it can be the same time.

He's going to confuse everyone. Most people are too dumb to understand DST. We need to spring forward and stay like that year round. Getting dark at 4 or 5pm sucks arse.

Summer is DST. Winter is standard. You stick with standard.

Speaking of... There is a fun spot in Arizona that illustrates the idiocy of DST. Arizona does not use it, so they are in the Pacific time zone during the summer. The Navajo nation, which is about 1/8 of the state, sticks with the Fed and follows DST. The Hopi nation, which is located within the Navajo lands, does NOT follow DST.
Arizona HWY 264, which passes through this area, has six time zone changes in less than 100 miles during the summer.

But we would be in sync with the weird 30 minute countries like Iran, India, Afghanistan, Myanmar, and French Polynesia.

There are actually others and some that have 15 and 45 minute time zones. Australia is the worst, it is fricked up like a football bat.

He has high hopes with that simple tweet. He's going to need to provide a lot more explanation for the mouth breathers.

And, if this is ultimately done via Executive Order it is all bullshite.

Maybe he's just talking about how far east the line angles to extend CST all the way to the Alabama - Georgia state line.

Do you know how many time zones there were in the Soviet Union?

Most people are too dumb to know that it’s actually Daylight Saving Time, not savings.
