I hear Alexandria has received a hell of a lot of rain today...can anyone verify?

They got over 7” this morning in less than three hrs at the airport. I just came through there on hwy 28. Lots of flooding in that area. Saw a used car lot that had cars submerged

yeah it was a constant heavy downpour from about 8:30 this morning to about 11

haven't heard reports of buildings taking on water... but water did get pretty high on some streets

some roads are still closed as the water recedes now

she was mistaken. I'm more along the lines of 9 cm or 3.50". Still said it was much more than she's accustomed to
