I like the original Toby version better. Man I sure do miss that guy! One of my all time favorites in country music. His love for America poured out in his songs.

So my 13 year old daughter loves Ella Langley. When she played me this version I immediately let her listen to the original. She couldn’t figure out why a song from the 90’s was referencing “checking your story” She thought it was referring to a social media story lol. We both got a good laugh, and enjoyed both versions of the song.

Hits different coming from a woman. I like the original better (its like a punch in the dick when I'm on the whiskey) but she did a good job.

I like his 90s music. His late stuff before he died I don't care for. He was never on my list of country music but he has a few decent songs.

I had not heard her version of it, but I thought she did a great job with it.
