It sounds wonderful in theory. Absolutely impossible in practice.

What mental disorders should be on the “no gun” list?

Exactly. Then they’ll start digging into social media posts, text messages, things you’ve asked Siri and Alexa, etc etc. “He makes his wife shower before sex. He must be mentally ill. Can’t have a gun.”

C’mon man? You serious? Thanks for that breaking news. I had no idea

Mental disorder is a spectrum and affects everyone differently. Just because someone is depressed doesn’t mean they’re going to shoot up a mall. Same with schizophrenia, etc.
who decides if the person is well enough?

There you go. Quoted. You compared depression to schizophrenia. Directly. Or did I misunderstand?

That probably is a decent place to start.

All these things can and have killed people. Should we have tests and regulations to own these things too? Your logic is flawed.

Hey sure, you're absolutely right, I should have said easily kill several people in enclosed spaces that are hard to escape.

I get the vehicle argument, and there used to be more people killed by cars, and now more are killed by guns. Thats not a coincidence with the changes in our overall behavior as a society.

And if one guaranteed right is on the table then so is voting. Talk about unintended consequences.

Did I compare them? Or did I simply list a couple of mental disorders.

Again... are your reading comprehension skills up to par? You have, once again, failed to answer a single question and misrepresent my question.

You really are bad at debate. I’m not being a dick. I seriously want to know your answers so we can have a real discussion.

So give everyone in this country the right to bear arms is the answer? Really? Talk about an extremist view.

Does it makr more sense to ban killing a person in a car while driving drunk or maybe make driving drunk illegal? Why are grenades illegal to have? Guns, like grenades, are designed for the intent purpose of causing death. Limiting access to literal tools of death isn't some extreme concept. It's common sense.

And you’re bragging about it in the threads, it’s nit like you were asking for help

Drunk driving doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to kill someone, so not sure what your angle was here.

They aren’t.

Anything is a tool of death to someone looking to cause death.

You’re dodging the problem here. How about you come up with a viable solution instead of deflecting because of the right to bear arms?

It’s obvious everyone shouldn’t have that right but you offer no solution. Just a defense of “everyone’s rights”.
