I obviously don't know shite other than what was posted here and on the news but it would make sense as far as a motive. Why else would some 21 yr old guy drive across Texas to shoot up a Walmart?

It is a Walmart in the middle of a 600k person city. At 10:30 am on a Saturday. I have been in that Walmart (on a weekday afternoon) and it was 99% Hispanics, city slickers, grandmas and single moms.
This was not a Walmart in the Permian or small town Texas or DFW suburbs where a good percentage of people might be carrying.
This would be similar to a Walmart in downtown Dallas or downtown Houston. Different demographics. Probably a few but not a lot were armed.
