Educational Attainment of Men and Women

Is the disparity between men and women getting degrees a natural societal change or is it the result of social movements?
I think we live in a society where how easy it is to teach someone is more important to our education system than the end results.
Think about it, women are earning more degrees, but most of those degrees are in fluff (I'm referring to some of the social sciences and liberal arts).
Men also tend to work more hours than women and take less time off than women. This is the real reason the pay gap exists.
But our society is overly focused on removing all elements of masculinity from education. I consider myself more liberal than the average poster on here, but even I'm disturbed by what's going on.

I'm a moderately minded White dude who's served his country, earns a good living, and takes care of his family.
I'm disturbed by how many times I'm told I'm evil and the reason for everything that is wrong with our society

Universities are no longer places of higher learning that meet the needs of the country. They are money making schemes.
They have tricked all people into believing that they need to go to college and get a degree, and that ANY degree is better than no degree.

Typical liberal bullshite. Ask a “either/or” question that is false from the outset. Go frick yourself.

Gender is fluid now so no gender, no gap

The purpose of my question wasn't a gotcha

Are you saying more women than men are earning degrees now, or that a higher % of women are earning degrees as compared to women years ago?

Come onto the train friend. We don’t hate you for being a man here. And the coats are comfortable

A man with only a high school education can be an oilfield baw and make great money.
A woman with only a high school education will get stuck in a crappy secretarial job.
So a college degree is of less value if you're a dude.

More women than men are earning degrees now. It's not a huge disparity. Its approximately 51/49.

Women get more degrees because kindergarten through highschool is geared to benefit women.

Thought was bigger than that. Like 60-40
