I cannot stress this enough. I made that mistake once and my gf and I were messed up beyond belief. Not in a good way. It took me a couple days before I felt right and even longer for her.

I have worked with addicts for many years. He is in danger of trading alcohol for THC. That is a terrible thing to do when you are an addict. I was just pointing that out to him and saying that it doesn't have to be that way. I can do that. Being completely sober is not a bad choice for anyone to make.

Sober isn't bad if you have hobbies and spare time.
I was weed sober too before some major health issues. And now weed helps me cope and deal with it. Not a great thing I know. And I'll have to quit 100% when I finally get my surgery. But until then. I like to roll a cannuguar and smoke on it a few days.

This is me. I’ve been off everything for 5 years now. It took a long time to get my sleep pattern back to normal but it can be done. I could get medical MJ because of my condition but just rather stay free of any mind altering stuff.

Generally, you want an indica strain to put you down and a sativa strain for your "party high." But your mileage may vary. You're going to have to...experiment with drugs.
