I get a brand called Five. I get 5mg Buzz for good feels and getting to sleep. They have a 5mg "Knockout" and a 2mg "Sleep" that has melatonin added.
5mg is enough to get me quite relaxed. 10mg is enough for a good buzz. It typically takes 60-90 minutes for an edible to kick in.

Get some cypress hemp gummies… they have strain specific gummies which is nice. I believe it’s $30 for 30 5mg gummies. Take a 5mg of a hybrid or indica for a nice buzz. After a while you may need 10mg… I never got to anything past 10mg, that’s the most I can handle and enjoy it.

Cycling frog and Erth Wellness are both good brands (I order them).
Gummy's always take an hour plus to kick in, you just have to time it. Taking it with a fat (like peanut butter) is supposed to make it work faster. Indicia means, "in" the couch.
A friend of mine age 70 has been a lifelong drinker, his doctor told him he would much rather him take Delta 9, or the real thing, than drink.
One warning, out of a jar 0f 30, 15 will have little effect, while the other 15 will knock you on your arse. Always half them and wait a hour before taking the other half.
Gummy's give me the cottonmouth, so have a large glass of ice water by the sink.

Starting out just try a THC drink. Works faster and doesn’t last as long.

These days anyone can get it for a variety of reasons. It's literally a multiple choice question online with a follow-up phone call. It takes 5 minutes total. You can drive or take an Uber to the dispensary and have a prescription before you arrive. Or you can literally get your prescription there at the dispensary.

I wear a Garmin and every time I would try to take a gummy for sleep my heart rate would remain elevated. I may sleep but the quality was poor. I am amazed at how my watch can tell if I have had something.

Try a hemp gummie from Perfect Plant out of NC & Nashville, if they can ship to you. Go with a quarter or half to start. They're smooth with no hangover. Highly recommended.

Edibles are all over the map in terms of potency, dosage amount, and quality.
Relying on dosage advice from the GED possessing, man-bun at the dispensary is not a great option.
This board hates big pharma and the shot, but will gladly injest unlabled peptides and THC without any clue as to the QC of either.
If you start on edibles, stay with the same brand, start low dose, and dont stack.

As a 9 year survivor of Stage IV tonsil cancer I have had to become creative with my pain management unless I wanted to become of pill junkie. Emory Palliative Care introduced me to high potency THC oil and gummies.
Unless you find a source that will ship you the real stuff (and you can): you are probably looking at some type of Delta 9. I use VIIA Hemp Gummies and they are great for Delta 9 products. Separate Sativa, Indica and Hybrid gummies are available. VIIA Hemp is out of Kentucky.
