And they're probably betting that people with questionable spending habits (not all of course) will sign up for their service.
Bingo, Amazon knows exactly how much they can expect to profit from this "discount"

If people are saying that, they are lying - no
hot foods with EBT (sometimes after a disaster it’s allowed) not saying stores can ring up hot foods anyway - but smaller stores wouldn’t take the chance

Tell me you’re on welfare without telling me you’re on welfare.
Tell me you’re on welfare without telling me you’re on welfare.

Never...but I have some friend's who were receiving Government assistance at one point. Today, they are very, very well off. Who knows where they would be without a little help.
Also, do most of the people who oppose Amazon giving Prime discounts to those on EBT think they are paying the membership with EBT? If not...then who cares?

I consider myself a Libritarian. Trump can suck it...Biden can sniff it. 2 party system can suck.
So now you should not be surprised.

If they're successful today, they never needed help. EBT isn't a ladder to escape poverty. It does more to trap than help.
They took it because it was convenient.

From the same author that brought you such classics as "How to build your own house with a book subscription."
*Said author did need quite a bit of help from his friends in this timeless imaginary tale.

Most wouldn't need that.
Men teach these skills to their sons. I'm sorry you had two moms.
Did you get a bump from your food stamps? I'll bet you really appreciate that half priced Prime.

I'm impressed you posted more than an emoji.
You're advancing.
Is this EBT talk hurting your feelings?

And you were able to respond to another poster without calling them a pedophile. We're all making progress.

Food stamps are first and foremost corporate welfare. Change my mind.

Well look at that. Two sentences.
I'm thoroughly impressed.

Hell, what isn't corporate welfare? Everything is designed to funnel money to the top and rob everyone else blind.

He's on welfare because he isn't attributing Amazon's revenue strategy to some government conspiracy?
They generate more revenue by pricing in more people. They are so ubiquitous that the discount has extremely limited impact on expenses, and with subscriptions being only ahead of their physical stores (where are these btw?) in revenue, top line is being worked on.

Low class populism. Always worried about the more successful guy.
I'm sorry, Comrade. Maybe next life things will be better for ya.
