i think the argument for Erwin's side is
they had a disagreement, she got very loud and aggressive
when the police were called, she claimed racism caused her to react
that story is so popular it's a meme. hell some of my clients have tried to play that card on me
*ETA: i'm not saying this is what happened, but it's certainly a reasonable and rational explanation for one side's argument

Andrew Denicola You ruined this women's life Gary and that's all on you. In your rush to judgement while pushing your own agenda, you broke a story without anything to back it up. Ultimately drawing the public eye on to her. I feel bad for her. Who is going to employ her now? Are you going to pay her bills?
