Prison is not a good enough place for an attempted murderer and child abuser. The judge that let him out has blood on their hands this morning.

My money's on his Judge was Trudy White

Another shitty aspect in all of this is the fact that yesterday numerous EBRSO deputies, Sheriff, and other employees made a trip to see Deputy Tullier in rehab. Tullier was shot in last summer's massacre on Airline in the line of duty.

Too bad somebody will wash it off, before the flies arrive.

JBE and the head of the Dept of Corrections (James Leblanc) were both in the advocate recently cheerleading to reduce sentences on all inmates. Isn't that lovely

imagine how law enforcement feels? That spend their time trying to rid their jurisdiction of the trouble makers, the evil ones, the ones that make their neighbors live in fear of being a victim. It's a job that has no "end goal". You can't catch all the bad guys in an area and make it a crime free zone. It's impossible and the task is made even harder and more frustrating when you finally get a chance to send one of these bad guys away and you know they will be back in a a few weeks, months, or years. Baton Rouge won't get better with more police, or elected officials. Baton Rouge can only get better with better citizens.
Prayers for the fallen deputy and his family and friends.

I'm sure she will visit the POS family that killed the officer. That's your mayor president......" Hug a Thug"

We all remember what happened 12 years ago this August....
That was what killed BR.

I remember when that was a decent part of town
Lived in O'Neal Place for a few years in the mid to late 70's, then moved across the street to Wedgewood from the age of 10-18....very quiet area. Could ride our bikes down O'Neal to friends' houses in Centurion Place, Shenandoah, Woodland Ridge, etc. We would "camp out" back in the woods behind the lake/pond in Wedgewood all weekend and our parents had nothing to worry about.
My parents and sisters' family still live in the Shadows of White Oak. The St. Jean government apartments were the start of the decline of that area and then Katrina didn't help matters for the entire city. Still have some nice homes in that area, but it reached its peak in the mid 90's or so.
Prayers to that officer and his family and friends. Have a couple HS, Marine Corps buddies and family members that are LEO's in the BR area....Pray for their safety daily.

A violent crime against an innocent person should be answered with swift death. I'm tired of these animals roaming this world. This country needs a culling. Drastic times call for drastic measures.

Taking the source at their exact wording, which is obviously a grain if salt at this point, but arrests and convictions are two completely different things. If the state failed to adequately prosecute the case and the judge let him go, that's not the judges fault.

I'm waiting for the mayor to blame this on whitey, St. George or Dabadie. Or all of the above. BR is becoming Jackson, MS. What was the city a few decades ago is being given over to the criminal element that are breeding like rabbits while the flight out to surrounding Parishes accelerates. Houses in BR are popping up for sale left and right, meanwhile, there is zero inventory in the LP, and even houses that flooded are selling at a premium. I've advised my boys to actively work at bailing out, and I'll follow them whenever I lose my Dad (who won't leave).

Now it's St. George or it's over.

Have they announced any names for the cop yet?
Posted on 3/19/17 at 8:12 am to tigerfootball10
I highly doubt they were cheerleading reduced sentences for violent offenders. The problem is we have jails full of drug offenders and it pushes all offenders to be released early because there is no room. If we get the drug offenders out then we can afford to keep the bad guys in.

Exactly, there could have been a technicality and the case was thrown out, all thanks to our freaking 18th century old constitutional laws. I understand that we have our rights and everything that was put in place long ago, but some of it sucks.
This situation is why shite like Alton Sterling happens. I hate that anyone has to be killed, but when you have morons that shoot cops, then cops are edgy and they will burn your arse if you make the wrong move. For cities like BR, NO and Chicago, the president should sign an order send the freaking National Guard or Army in and place extreme Martial Law and clean some of the scum out.

Good people, no matter the race should really try to get out of BR if they have the opportunity. Our new mayor is letting a total piece of racist shite have a voice instead of telling Gravy to stfu and go away. It will only get worse.

Assinine if true, I can understand some non-violent offenders. There are people in jail who definitely don't belong there but there are others who should never be out here with us again. I don't understand the powers that be being unable to differentiate between the two.

You're asking for common sense which won't happen because the violent criminals are greatly slanted towards one race.
