Teachers are such twats these days. They wonder why parents are putting their kids in private schools more than ever. While they aren’t the only issue they are one of them.

The mental health of students gets completely ignored. Yay teachers.

I would love for them to respond to this the way hospitals have their shortages...Ok, good news...positive teachers with little to no symptoms no longer have to quarantine. Staff shortage solved, now get to work.
It's simple, you put the positive teachers in the classroom with the positive students.

STOP! TAKING! COVID! TESTS
You know what is interesting? EBR is paying every student $10 per week to take the COVID tests on site. Yes you read that right. The school system (or somebody) is paying the students to take the test. No chance test taking will stop, and do you think there is an agenda? Hmmm, we don’t have enough positive tests lately.. I know, let’s pay them to get tested! We will have higher number of cases that way!

Its pretty much all teachers at this point.
Hell, Texas teachers are locking their kids in trunks.
Nah, we're back in person, no masks, apart from a couple snow days last week. I know there are some idiots trying to ruin that, but hopefully they get overruled again by sane people.

Remember folks. Teachers aren’t in it for the money or attention, they’re in it for the children…

This is beyond politics. We allowed entire professions to work from home for 3 months back in 2019. And since then, most people have not wanted to ever come back to work or get into the swing of things. I’m a teacher, but since I coach football I was always working. But we have had a lot of teachers quit or just become useless.
Until we start ignoring Covid and go back to before, it’s always gonna be like this. People will always choose to stay home vs work especially if they are getting paid for it.

STOP! TAKING! COVID! TESTS!
Was talking with someone who works at the charter school down the street. They had 22 teachers out with Covid, last Friday. Teachers are out 5 days if they test positive. Real sucked for the teachers that weren't positive.
Why did so many teachers test positive?
They test the teachers at the school every week. If the teachers are vax they can refuse the test, but they get $20 each time they take one.

The kids will probably be smarter with less interaction with the teachers.
