They dont care and want to cripple folks. So up until Nov 3 they can create as much chaos as possible.

Also gives the schools a couple of more weeks to get bus, food, cleaning, etc details ironed out.

Only having 6 months to do this was just not quite enough time

The expectation is to cause as much economic pain and chaos as possible for the middle class.

~protect the vulnerable by making more people economically vulnerable~

I doubt they’d change the plan they announced only like 2-3 days ago, sounds like a BS thread

They didn’t announce anything. They presented the plan to the board and board said it will be 1-2 weeks before deciding that or virtual or pushin school back

Obviously you haven’t been paying attention.. there has been more than one example of major policy announcements coming from the state that directly contradict what was said only 2-3 days before.

So if they wait 2 weeks, they’ll announce it the same week that school begins?

California senator said 1 parent needs to quit work to stay home, if it means selling a car or moving into less expensive housing then so be it, peoples lives are at stake.

Ahh, so become solely dependent on the welfare state. A Democrat’s dream scenario!

Private schools too?

I can't imagine private schools would be going virtual unless they absolutely had no choice. How many people would be pulling their kids (and tuition) out if every school is virtual?

Waiting 2 weeks would but it the Thursday before school starts. Some board members wanted to vote for virtual starting the 6 that night but since it wasn’t on the agenda they couldnt

What about one parent families.

And this is a huge win for teacher unions

American Academy of Pediatricians statement: the AAP strongly advocates that all policy considerations for the coming school year should start with a goal of having students physically present in school.

All virtual is better than hybrid model. They should be either all in on the virus hoax or not

That was their stance till Trump agreed with them then they did a 180. Im all for putting these fools in school and letting the virus run its course.
